Effective 5 October 2026. This policy explains how AskVi handles information when you use the public website, Vi, a company workspace or a service request.
Information we may process
We may process account and contact details, company records, ownership and management information, uploaded documents, messages and prompts sent to Vi, service-request information, and technical or security information generated when you use AskVi.
Why we use it
We use information to provide the service you requested, build and maintain company records, answer questions, analyse documents, operate service requests, communicate with you, protect AskVi, troubleshoot problems and improve the reliability of the product.
AI-assisted processing
Vi may use AI systems to analyse information and generate responses. Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and should be reviewed before they are relied on for a material company, legal, tax, compliance or government decision.
Service providers and partners
AskVi uses technology providers for functions such as hosting, database and authentication, email delivery, analytics and AI processing. If you ask AskVi to arrange execution by a specialist, information reasonably required for that request may be shared with the assigned service provider. A service partner does not receive general company membership merely because it is assigned a job.
No sale of personal information
AskVi does not sell personal information to advertisers. Information is not shared with a service provider simply for that provider to market unrelated services to you.
Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain company and request records, meet legal or security requirements, resolve disputes and enforce applicable agreements. Retention can vary by record type.
Security and access
AskVi uses authenticated company workspaces and scoped service-request access. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so you should use a secure account and avoid uploading information that is not needed for the task.
Your requests
You may contact us about access, correction or deletion of information associated with your AskVi account, subject to records we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention or legitimate operational reasons.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information in countries other than the country where you are located. By using AskVi, you understand that data may be processed where those providers operate, subject to their applicable contractual and legal protections.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as AskVi changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when a material revision is published.
