Cookies & Tracking Technologies
AskVi uses cookies and similar browser storage, including local storage, for different purposes. Necessary storage can run without a marketing choice. Optional analytics and advertising storage stay off until you allow them. Continuing to browse is not a choice.
Strictly necessary
These technologies are used to deliver something you asked for or to keep the service secure. Examples include authentication and session state, security checks, the guest answer allowance, and a theme preference when you choose one. They are not used as an advertising profile.
Functional
A saved appearance preference is functional. It remembers the theme you select. It is not advertising measurement.
Analytics / product measurement
If you allow analytics, AskVi may keep an anonymous session identifier and first-party records of how the product is used, including which pages and questions lead through the service. This helps AskVi understand the product. It is optional.
Advertising / attribution
If you allow advertising measurement, AskVi may store campaign and source information, including parameters on the link you opened, and use Google Ads measurement where that tag is enabled. The same advertising preference is the switch a future advertising conversion measurement would use. Saving the preference does not add another advertising tag. Rejecting optional measurement leaves the page address intact and does not stop you using Vi.
